The new inventory management system is terrible on so many levels. It is simply unbelievable that this managed to make it's way into the game.
Please bring back the old way. It was not broken.
Now, I must go to save one of my alts. He is threatening to pod-kill himself because he is at a POS in his Orca trying to start production and invention jobs, which requires having multiple windows open - and used to be a simple task.

I wanted the old inventory system back the second day.
I wanted the old inventory system back yesterday.
And, today, I still want the old inventory system back.
Has anyone seen the movie "Idiocracy"? |

In all honesty, I have had such a range of feelings from this latest release.
1. Crucible, and the Inferno pre-release had many great features - so at first I was EXCITED!
2. Inferno, and it's horrific unified inventory made me CONFUSED.
3. Continued use of the new inventory system made me FRUSTRATED.
4. Trying to "get used to it" as CCP suggested, made me ANNOYED.
5. CCP's acknowledgement of the new inventory's problems - and their promises to fix them made me HOPEFUL.
6. CCP's failure to realize the true problems with the new system made me AMAZED.
7. CCP's persistence on jamming this crappy system down our throats made me ANGRY.
8. The realization that CCP does not really listen to it's player base, and plans to do whatever *they* like, made me DISAPPOINTED.
9. The length of time this has been going on has made me SHOCKED.
10. The fact that I don't enjoy playing EVE as much anymore because of this, now makes me SAD.
CCP: PLEASE take a moment and reflect on the big picture. You have broken something that didn't need fixing, and now have created more problems as a result.
By your own admission (by issuing "patches" to the inventory system) you KNOW it isn't good.
PLEASE save yourself the time and trouble and do what makes sense: Go back to what worked in the first place.

This thread has been active for about two weeks now...
As of right now, there are 8383 views, 614 replies, and 982 likes.
Obviously, this is quite important and is bothering a lot of people.
CCP: Please pay attention to your player base.
Enough with the attempts at fixing this mess. Please fix it once and for all, and go back to what worked in the first place.

Hey... I just realized something.
By CCP's own description of the Unified Inventory, it really isn't even what THEY think it is.

Ummm... NO! That would be the assets tab you are describing there, CCP.
So, please put this feature where it belongs (the assets tab), and give us back our old inventory system.

I have been having a conversation about this with a GM via petition since the first day of the change.
In his last response to me, he told me that although he agrees with some of my concerns, he is unable to communicate those issues to the devs. WHAT?!?
So he directed me to A DIFFERENT THREAD which is supposed to be the "official" thread the devs read.
